Steffi from Lake Constance

My name is Steffi and I'm 34 years old. I'm so excited to be part of #teamorigoyoga. Yoga has brought so much more peace, happiness, and well-being into my life, and that's exactly what I want to share with you. Together with Origo Yoga, I want to reach as many people as possible to open the door to a sustainable yoga practice and, consequently, to a relaxed and happy life.

After rain comes sunshine - My yoga journey began when I was after
After a cruciate ligament tear, I could barely bend and straighten my knee. I attended my first yoga class and was immediately captivated by this special way of moving my body. My knee also improved after regular practice.
fully restored.

A few years later, after finding myself caught in the rain again, I wasn't quite sure what to do with myself and my life. I decided to train as a yoga teacher. Afterwards, I spent some time in Sri Lanka teaching, enjoying the sunshine, and founding Monara Yoga with my friend Lisa. Back home in Germany, I integrated yoga teaching as a regular part of my professional life, alongside my work as a kindergarten teacher. Since then, whenever I've found myself in difficult circumstances, yoga – in all its facets – has always helped me to be patient and calm, to trust, and to see the sun peeking out from behind the clouds until it reappears in the blue sky.

I love sharing all these experiences I have in and with my yoga practice and showing my yogis how to enjoy time on and off the mat with fun and serenity.

Yoga is my personal compass, always showing me the way to joy, love and ease.

Lisa from Cologne

I'm Lisa, a 35-year-old nature lover from the Palatinate region, a surfing mom – currently on dry land – and a pregnant yogini. Yoga has been a part of my life since I was 17, when I started following along with my mom's 70s yoga book, using it as a way to stretch away school stress. Oh, and I'd read back then that Madonna practiced yoga. :-)

I've never been athletically ambitious, and therefore I have no drive in yoga to practice spectacular handstands. In yoga, I enjoy how my body feels through the exercises – so invigorated and expansive, how my thoughts and feelings become more organized and reflective, and how I challenge myself with philosophical yoga themes.

For me, personal growth in my relationships with myself, others, and the environment is particularly important. At the same time, I find it fascinating how our bodies can assume so many different positions and what is possible through practice. I've experienced how well a yoga practice can adapt to physical and mental needs in various phases of my life, and I'm experiencing it again now. Pregnancy and the postnatal period, during which so much changes in the body and emotions, are enormous yet so natural. Yoga helps me accept these processes and feel my best, lift my spirits, practice patience, and relax. Currently, my practice serves as a workout to stay flexible and strong, and as "me time" to start the day with renewed energy through meditation and breathing exercises, which I then enjoy with my son. Teaching, just like my own practice, is very close to my heart. I love sharing how yoga works holistically. In this way I can better understand body, mind and soul, classify things and accept them as they are or consciously change them if I feel that something is no longer good for me.

As a member of #teamorigoyoga, I want to show what is possible through yoga and how you can make your yoga journey natural and sustainable.

Marina from Hamburg

Namaste, my name is Marina, I am 35 years old and originally come from the spa town of Bad Saulgau in Upper Swabia, but currently live in Hamburg.

Yoga isn't a trend for me; it's been my life for many years and enriching on every level. Through my training trips and yoga festivals around the world, and my own yoga studios, I've met so many wonderful and inspiring people, some of whom have become friends and family.

One Family - One Tribe!

My wish has always been to bring to Germany what I experienced abroad during my travels and time in the yoga communities.

Through my work as a holistic physiotherapist, yoga teacher, and mentor, it is my heartfelt desire to open people's consciousness. To also open them to how beautiful this planet is and what potential lies within each of us. HeavenOnEarth is not a place—it is a way of life. You are
You are responsible for whether you create heaven on earth in your own reality.
or create hell.

Yoga, healing work, and spirituality help you release all the unloved parts and conditioning within yourself—everything that you are not and that prevents you from living the way you truly feel! This is how you find your "true essence" and "purpose." I believe that if everyone lived accordingly, our world would look different, and therefore everyone must begin with themselves. Transform yourself to transform the world. I also have a podcast on this topic, "Change Yourself to Change the World." Feel free to listen.

As a member of #teamorigoyoga, I want to show what is possible through yoga and how you can make your yoga journey natural and sustainable.
